A Raymondville man was shot in the arm on Sunday morning and police are yet to find a motive.

The incident took place about 4 a. m. in the 700 block of South Tenth Street.

According to police, a man in his 20s received a gunshot wound on one of his arms and was taken to the hospital by a Willacy County Emergency Medical Services ambulance.

Police Chief Uvaldo Zamora said they do not know if it is an isolated or gang-related incident.

He said the victim has not been cooperating with police.

“The victim said he was washing a car. But who washes a car at 4 a. m.? he said. “ That is why we continue to investigate this shooting.”
